From tonneaus to traction - two needs, two answers

The Bushranger Auto Gear range of award winning 4WD accessories has been increased to include innovative tonneau covers for utes and pick-ups,  plus a compact but highly practical set of sand, mud or snow tracks to provide grip in the worst of conditions.

BushRanger tonneau.jpg (71074 bytes)"It’s fair to say that tonneau covers have remained pretty much unchanged since the first ute hit the road," said Russell Foxe, managing director of Kingsley Enterprises, distributors of Bushranger Auto Gear.

"What makes our product different is that we designed it from the outset to replace old and worn tonneau covers while retaining the original fitting points on the tray wherever possible. And we back our quality tonneau covers with a No-Fuss, three-year warranty," said Mr Foxe.

"We’ve added the innovation of built-in wraps that keep the tonneau cover in place when rolled back plus a handy stretch cord snatch hook that prevents broken nails and sore fingers when clipping the cover’s elastic cord into place.

"We secure the front edge of the cover using an aluminium channel and the front flap is held down by a Velcro strip. This helps to help keep out moisture and dust."

Made of interlocking, high tensile aluminium panels that slide together to form an adjustable length of temporary road, the Tread Tracks are the light and compact answer to the old fashioned and often cumbersome sand ladders.

Each three-piece set can be used independently or extended to create a longer alloy "road". And with its heavy-duty grip surface as part of the extruded construction, there’s no risk that a tyre cannot get the grip it needs to drive the vehicle forwards or backwards.

Both Tread Tracks and the Tonneau Cover are part of the comprehensive range of Bushranger Auto Gear accessories, available from leading 4WD and auto accessory outlets nationally.
