Am continuing the search for previous owners of my car, HT Monaro, and it looks like it was sold new in Canberra toward the end of 1969 or early 1970. In talking to an A9X guru this evening he mentioned he has a 'warranty list' that records vin and dealer codes for pre HQ cars. Unfortunately for me his list is for LJ to LH toranas.

Has anyone here ever come across a 'warranty list' or something similar for monaros? The next issue will be cross referencing the dealer codes with the dealers I know were operating in Canberra around the time the car likely sold.

Cheers
Jacko

Yes. It is a Service/Warranty report out of the IBM360 mainframe, pivoted/sorted by PSN, printed on z-fold paper and later microfiched. It is what GMH uses for their letters over the years. It exists for LC-LX and HQ to HZ up to mid 1978 when the warranty system changed.
It only shows some vehicle data relevant to Warranty, unfortunately other data available in the database was not printed, like colour, trim, options other than mechanical options etc. if you look in Eric Blair’s Torana book there is a similar print for A9X that is a different report with different data.
