My HT ute driver's door is a bit bent. What are my options for replacement? Obviously if I can find one from an HT ute I am good to go. What about HT wagon? HT sedan? HG? HK? Is there much or any difference between them all?

I'm pretty sure all HK-HG front doors are basically the same fitment other than coupe or those with power windows, just like HQ-WB. There will be obvious differences that are model and/or series specific like stainless strip attachment posts and holes, but these are easier to remove if you need to than fix rust or dents. The hardest would be to add them back on if your ute is a Kingswood. The only other thing I can think of is early HK front doors had the door opening handle on the inside in a different location. I haven't really dabbled in HK-HG "other body styles" anywhere near as much as coupes, so there may also be a couple of other differences that I haven't come across before. There always seems to be plenty on Gumtree as these don't rust as badly as HQ-WB, lots of ones with some rust for $50-$100 plus what looks to be a rust free one in Wyong for $600.

Thank you. Not too many doors up my way but if all options are on the table, it shouldn't be too long before something pops up.

I guess that means the chrome trims around the doors would also be the same. More good news.

Where abouts are you. Just going on the HK-T-H parts Catalogues though, as someone has already mentioned, they are all the same. All 2 & 4 Door, except power windows, early HK and Monaro. I have a pretty good one here in Canberra. Came off a HG wagon. You can see details & pics on ebay under ( jackshk

Thanks, Flem.

I am in SE QLD which is not exactly the centre of the world for HKTG parts but they do pop up locally every now and then. Certainly more often if I can use one from any model.
