Has anyone ever noticed the phenomenon that people seem happy to flock to a line? Like if there is a big BBQ people will line up, one behind the other, to get a serviette, when the food is 10m away! They see a line and join it. Just getting off a cruise a few weeks ago I am really noticing it now as it was prevelant on the cruise - "oh look, there's a line up for food. Let's join it!" Idiots, go to the other side of the table/buffet/whatever. Every morning, every lunch... I'd just walk straight past the line, grab a plate and get some food, where incidently there was half a dozen people at the 30m long buffet! The rest were queing up for a serviette. Often see it at sporting events with lines at the women's toilets. If they'd just walk 30m around the corner there's another set of empty toilets. Or at Target tonight, 25 people queued up to get served, no-one at the returns desk so walk straight up and get served. Obviously some people have nothing better to do than wait in lines!

I believe the same thing happens in the spare parts dept at Ford dealerships. Long lines snaking there way out the door. LOL MERRY CHRISTMAS ALL!

Ahhh, it used to be called manners (obviously a thing of the past). Get a plate, serviette and your eatin irons and then move up the table. Imagine the chaos if everyone just went at it like a sale day at Myers.

I thought that Ford spare parts stopped selling toploaders and 9" diffs years ago so now the Holden owners that want these have to line up at importers 8-) Merry Christmas......Jim..

Yeah maybe, but acting like sheep doesnt necessarily have anything to do with good manners. Its only bad manners if you are pushing in. I noticed it again today. Massive vehicle line up around corner through lights to get into Westfield Kotara. Got in the right hand right turn lane (2 in parallel to turn right), drove up to the next entrance and drove straight in while the left lane probably waited 2-3 sets of lights and then still queued up to get into the first entrance. The reason ford stop selling toploaders and 9 inch diffs was that the holden motors kept breaking them.
