Hi all for some reason my wipers park themselves almost in the middle of the screen I have only recently put the system back into the car after resto , any tips for somehow changing the park position as it's not just a matter of refitting the arms in a different position.

Can the crank lever on the motor be repositioned on that model ?

I remember someone telling me once that it will do this if the brass earth strap is not connected. It will just stop where ever it is and not return to zero.

Yep edelbrock has it right. There should be a thin brass earth strap under the dash that goes from one of the motor connecting bolts to the metal cover.
