Whats the part number for a 1968 HK heater box?
Where there different heater boxes available in hk?
I was told to look for P/N 7434181, but this number isnt listed in the blue hk parts book?
Ima Confused?? Help please!!

7434181 is listed in the back of the yellow book under group 9.779. but buggered if I can see it in that group. It lists the heater housing as LH vs10675 and RH vs10676 if thats what you are after.

These are the same numbers as in your blue book and as you would have seen heater assembly was available with or with out fan

7434181 is radiator assy in first yellow streak book M35966

HK had a light grey plastic heater box.

late HK & all HT/G had the black fibreglass box

Just checked mine and it has Holden 7434181 ASM on the side

So it is in the yellow parts book, Wonder why its not in the blue parts book??
Which book came out first, sounds like one has been revised or updated from the other.
At least i know now thats the number on the side of the heater box, mystery solved.

It appears that the number is listed in yellow book M35966 but not in yellow book M38340 or blue book M37170
