A little challenge for you guys. In street stock racing you can only use a single throat stromberg carby. i would assume the later model vb/c carby would be the better one to use off the red 3.3. What mods can be made to increase air and fuel flow, economy is not an issue. The motor can be re-worked and 12 port blues are used but all are restricted by that single stromy. You are allowed to use up to a 20mm spacer plate under the carby, hence the adaption to a 12 port manifold. So what can we drill out, cut out or bore out to get the stromy going ?

Are you allowed to use one off a 250 or 4.1 Falcon as I believe that these are bigger than the Holden units?

VB's should be the same as HX and HZ. VC's are a 2-barel varajet. Talk to the HQ racers. They get big horses (for a 202) with a Stromberg.

Hi Guys.

If you restricted to running a single barrel Stromberg, I think the biggest is 1 9/32" off International or Bedford trucks.

The biggest Stromberg off a Holden 6 is the late HQ & HJ 202 unit.

Suggest you use a head off a black motor as these have larger valves and much better porting standard. All black heads carby and injected are the same this way.
