A positive movement from young Kevin, the old 380 fleet cars are due for retirement, imported corollas were going to be used But Kev says NO you can have LPG commodores until the new 4cyl Aussie built Holden comes out in 2010.

Give the media a shock horror bone and they will exploit it. They don't care too much about the difference between classic and tired, they just sell advertising space based on ratings.

Surely this would be a voluntary thing to give owners of cars that would be classed as bombs a finacial boost to get a better car, here in SA there are a lot of S**tboxes on the road that can be tranfered from owner to owner without ever getting anywhere

A mate of mine bought an early 80's Corolla for $750 with long rego in real good condition. He reckons that it doesn't have enough power to get the boy into trouble and yet it's reliable and economical.
