I went to this yesterday, despite the rain. Thought maybe it'd be off, but here's all these idiots? standing out in the rain with all their stuff out getting wet including stuff in boxes and books? Go figure?

Anyway, despite the small number of sellers compared to normal I still managed to find some OK stuff at decent prices:

NOS HK tail-light lens.
UC Torana and Holden Sunbird parts catalogue, both sections in binder.
VB-VH Commodore parts catalogues, both sections bound together.
Jan-Feb 1975 308 Quadrajet (3034 date coded).
HT-HG 308 auto Quadrajet.
Pair of original rear shocks for my HJ Premier, should be find to use as is but i'll rebuild them. Just need to find some fronts if anyone has a pair (101-1000 IIRC is the original number for the fronts).

The Quadrajets were full of water, look like they've been in the rain for a week. What is the best stuff to soak them in to free them all up? Just to clean off the alloy fur and gunk. I'll pull them apart but they need a good soak first. Maybe bulk WD40?

If we all had the same (good) taste, who would buy all the Fords?

Give Chris Nobbs a call. Has a good product called PB Blaster. It is American. He is also in the process of getting his own range locally made. Either or, Chris has deep knowledge and experience in industrial chemistry. This stuff is aerosol and about twenty bucks. i've been using it for years. If it is not right for the application he can give you quality advice. Good bloke. He has a dealer which trades into the mines in the Hunter too.

Phone 02 98947360.

Cheers
Nick.
