Hi all.
Having a discussion with my old school painter and he plans to paint car in a slightly different way than I see most people paint.
Car is currently in primer. He plans to paint the outer finished Base colour first. Then when finished the base/stripes he will paint the firewall. Underside etc.

He says to do it this way because the finished Base is easier to mask up and protect before the rest goes on. And being a satin underneath. Overspray is harder to remove.

In the end he's the painter and ill go along with his suggestions but interested to here other people's thoughts.

Cheers
