Just a quick question as I don't have any to look at and can't remember. Are EH sumps different to HD-HR? Pretty sure they are but just want to check.

According to my Repco Holden engines book , EH and HD/HR very different. thanks Mark.

correct.. says my memory
GMH took advantage of a crossmember/steering re-design
on HD and HR to deepen the middle part of the red motor sump
(and have greater oil capacity and less impact of surge)

I thought they were. They moved the engine forward about 3” I think.
