Hi all

Juat a quick question regarding the above conversion.
I have a stock HQ Kingswood sedan.
It is running a 55 amp alternator which is the only electrical mod I have made.

The time has come to upgrade to Halogen headlights and was wondering what is involved.

Do you just fit the new headlights or are there other items that need changing as well?
Thanks in advance for any info

Tim

No problems with this simple conversion Tim.
You don't need a higher amp alternator provided as you say there are no extra electrical items.
However fitting a relay to your lights is a good idea.
The foot dipper switch is likely to start giving trouble

Most car shops sell H4 conversion kits to replace the sealed beam type. I done it on my HJ they work great :)

Cheers
