u know how one problem just leads to anotjer well after following your advise on the four passenger doors wich was great thanks, the following happened on the rear tail gate.
rear electric tailgate window
having dismantled the rear window to sop it sticking and getting stuck i now find that the gears dont mesh properly with the cover plate over the electric motor.
The problem seems to be with the tounge that is on the cover plate for the window motor, pushing it away when it is screwed together,(no it wont go on upside down), with out the plate on and the glass still out it seems to work fine but when we (my son & I ) reassemble it it gets jammed . Is this the correct cover plate are there any alignment marks or have i just stuffed up completly and lost the plot .
I have only had the car about 2 weeks if you are interested u can check out the pics on

cheers:

I really should stop replying while standing on my head...of course the Blue Font is over to the left...and clicking on it brings up my profile. On that page is a link to send me an E-mail...

Cheers...Dave
