4.1 XE Falcon alloy head alloy inlet manifold. There is a leak underneath and in the centre of the inlet manifold. Front and rear heater ports exist between the manifold and passenger wheel side BUT can anyone advise me if there are any heater ports between the inlet manifold and the head ? Because if there are NO heater ports I can not see how a new inlet manifold gasket would fix the leak ?? If you are able check or have an inlet manifold from a conversion would you please advise as soon as possible. You could reply thru this site or ring 0422 45 1114 and I will ring you back to save the cost of the call. Thank you for helping to sort this out.

what is leaking fuel or water or both?from what your saying it sounds like water,an easy fix would be to pull the heater hoses off and block them off with a bolt/hose clamp etc, this should solve a water leak and the water is not realy needed in the manifo

Thank you both to tuff 250 and vzgen3 for your advice. It is a coolant leak and I hope that it is not a head gasket leaking. Thanks

head gasket is very easy to change on these motors and wouldn't cost much.they do,over time eat out the back 2 water jackets in the head but this is also cheap around $100 to reweld the jackets and face the head.
