Can any fastlaners please give me advice about how to ship large items advertised on Ebay within Australia. I am interested in some wheels and tyres located in a remote small country town interstate and way too big for Australia Post to handle. The seller requires all arrangements for pickup and shipping to be made from my end. What should I do now? Any suggestions greatly appreciated.

Ask the seller if they have a local carrier they could recommend? Then get them to weigh the items also. Depending on the company they may need them to be strapped to a pallet for ease of handling (forklift) and any weight figure would need to incorpora |

Then make sure you get a few quotes from the big freight companies, like; STAR TRACK EXPRESS, TNT, TOLL IPEC. Depending on where it's situated, it probably will not be cheap.
Good Luck! Leith

Do you have a truck stop near by, try talking to some truckies as they are always looking for goods to backload on a return trip. I deal with interstaters at my work and its quite common, Ask around?
