Hello to all, I am having a problem with the Fuel tank in my Ht Ute. When ever I fill up to full (especially hot days) the tank seems to leak. Now I'm not sure but It looks as if there is a fuel overflow drain pipe above the rear axle in center, is this right?? Surelly this is not normal as I suspect I lost around 1-3 litres of fuel when stationary, and god knows how much when driving. Could it be dew to the expansion of fuel vapors on a hot day?? I am not overfilling as I always stop at the first click. Could a pipe be blocked somewhere?? If anybody had a similar problem I would love to hear the fix.
Cheers james

Have a look at the cork gasket around the cap. Its probally gone or very flat. I cut a new one out of a sheet of gasket worked a treat. Give that a go nice and cheap

Also check the beather pipe, its the small one next to the fill hose into the tank. They can look OK but you may find its craked from age. Replace this also and let us know how you go.
