...how many HJ-HZ Holden owners I meet that don't know that there is a difference between an HJ-HZ Premmie front clip and an HJ-HZ Statesman front clip(a premmie one is square edged on the top and a statesman one is lower and more rounded) what else astounds me is the amount of front ends I see on Ebay advertised as "HJ-HZ Statesman/premier/GTS front end" well all three are different so which one is it?!!!! P.S. I'm not saying I'm an all knowing guru or anything myself, and I often ask questions on here that probably seem silly to more knowledgeable people than me, but its just that this one particular common mistake just irks me for some reason, and I dont excactly know why, but it does.Maybe its because the difference is so easy to spot and people still miss it. Cheers.Russ.

Actually, Russ, the front panel for the Prems and Stato's IS the same...same Part Number in the Holden Parts Manual. It is some of the garnish pieces that are different...
Cheers...Dave

Russ, What are you talking about???? All the aprons are the same from the HJ Premier/Statesman, HX Premier/LE/Statesman and the HZ Premier/Statesman/GTS/Sandman. If you have seen a Statesman front apron with a rounded top like the single headlight apron t

Two dogs, you forgot the HJ-HZ Ambulance in that lot! There is also a slight difference in HJ twin fronts to the rest. The HJ has 4 x extra mounting bolts between the nose and the support. From memory they are on the sides and you get to them from the bat |

The nosecones you have seen with the round snout are imports that were copied and built incorrectly. |

I rarely see them. You can pick an imported panel or radiator support as they flex and bend like a Hyundai panel. They are about half as thick as a Holden one. |
