Hi guys
I just discovered this forum and have been watching for a couple of days, glad to see a car forum that is friendly (no fighting, bitchin, backstabbing, etc) inviting and helpful. Is there anyone out there that still ownes vb-vk's. I have just bought a vh s/le for my son that needs abit of work but am finding it hard to find pictures and sites to view.

Great car for a first one!

I have a VH SL/E project, but it's on the backburner after I bought a very rare VL to restore, but one day... one day....

These days I find it easier to have a couple of modern on

Mick

1) Here's a list of some of the interchangable parts that I know of. There are probably others, but I haven't had anything to do with VK's.

Tail lights - Different styling, but may fit.
Bonnet - 95% sure.

Question 1:
As far as the bumpers, all you need to do is:
Rear:
Drill a couple of extra holes in the sides, and the rear bar will go straight on. Just need to change the wire to the new numberplate light too.
Use a VK to measure where the holes go.
Cheers,

Mick

And thanks to you to Byron Rich, I think that will be the sensible thing to do for a begginer, but for now it's mine and it's been so long since i've had the rumble and power of a v8 so i'll take a trip back to my youth for a little while.

cheers
