G'day Guys,
I have a 1976 HX Ute.
After coming to a halt on the M2, after my headers burnt into the wiring harness.... I've decided to re-do my engine bay wiring, and hide it out of the way while im at it.
Ive got larger gauges for the Audio wiring etc, but for the general enginebay wiring, what gauge should I use?
Does anyone know a good place to pick up a couple of spools of cheap (but decent, wholesale?) wire?
Do people recommend any type of heatshielding?
Anyone have any tricks for hiding all the wiring?
Will have a squiz at my Wiring Diags, but are there any fuseable links / special resistive wires etc. I should keep an eye out for?
Thanks Guys!

Though I've never done the Job. I think i could offer some advise even just to give you a head start.
Depending on wether or not your engines a V8 Or Six will, I think, Will determine the Complexity of the Job. Like a V8 will hide the Wires with relati |

Thanks,
Yeah, the guards look like a good option.
Its a 308, and the main aim is to protect the wiring, rather than make it beautiful (but why not while im at it) but Ill prob leave the battery in view.
The main thing is which gauge wire to use?

Never use single core on anything that is moving or even on extension cords etc, they will break. Use the most number of filaments you can get for the size of wire the more filaments the more flexible the wire is and the better it carries current. Single
