Does anyone know the difference between the Stomburg WW fitted to the 186S and the 253.

Are there any physical differences?

What numbers correspond to each?

Dont know the numbers but the 186 carby would be a single venturi and the 253 a twin venturi.

Hi Guys.

Yes, the 186 has a single venturti carby, but Bob was asking about the WW 2 barrel on the 186 'S'.

To answer Bob's question, there are many different versions of both depending on model fitted, auto or man, cable or linkage actuation, pollu

Do you know the numbers that correspond to a 186S WW Stromberg?
It has US made on it, so would this mean that it could only be off a 186S?

Thanks

Hi Guys.

Les, 23-3041 is the WW to suit LC GTR 2600 S, Oct '69 to July '71.

The carbies that Munromad2004 lists are the original US made WW to suit early 186 S, up to mid HT.
