Guys and girls. Last night I finally got the dash and switches back into the HK. They were in the box of bits when I bought the car 4 odd years ago. When I switch on the lights, and thus the dash lights, both indicator lights glow very brightly. When you switch on the indicators, they now don't work. The high beam indicator light works correctly, and the brake warning light is constantly on. Any suggestions aswhere to start looking for a fix. It is a VDO circut board type dash. Oil pressure, amps, temp and fuel work ok.
Thanks Ted

You will find that the problem is in the front blinkers, they have a short circuit between the parker lamp and the blinker lamp.

had a simular problem on a car recently when the "owner" put in single fillement lamp in left front indicator. Took a while
