Currently have 2 HR Front Ends, both Drum brake. The base plate on the bottom of one of the front ends, is a little banged up. The front end still measures square. Is it possible (Feasible)to detach the bottom plate ,straighten it out and re attach, or am I best to combine the parts to make one servicable front end.

In the Hot Rod game they take them apart and shorten the things the make a new bottom plate amd weld it back on, while your at it strengthen the bitch so it'll never bend again.
