VT Air Bag Replacement

I have got hold of a new air bags for the driver and passenger side. Can I just plug them in to the eqisting wiring or does the computers need resetting first. I don't want to pop the new ones fitting them. Will I need new modules or can they be reset? Pete

We had to connect the airbag wire to a diagnostic cable to ensure there was no stray current going through the wire to prevent the airbag from going off in our hands. I would

Only the Manufacture can reset the computer, as a chap mentioned cycle the ingittion for so many counts (cant remember how many times) for programing but wont solve
