Hi all,

A while back I finally got around to fitting a set of ignition and door locks to the HQ GTS.

I had the locks tucked away still in their packet with a heap of other Rare Spares gear I have collected in preparation for my restoration projects.

Anyway during installation of the ignition lock I had a little brass pin fall out of the lock which rendered it inoperatable.
At the time I was a bit P...ed off but ended up fitting a second set which I also had tucked away for another project.

I had put it out of my mind until recently when I was cleaning up the shed and found the busted lock.

I contacted Rare Spares via email and pretty much asked if there was anything they could do as I was then stuck with a set of door locks without a matching ignition lock.

I should add that I had no receipt and had these items tucked away for up to a year before I got around to fitting them. I told them all of this and without missing a beat they asked me to supply my address so they could send me out a replacement set of locks at no cost.

Well done and thank you to Rare Spares.
