I feel like an Idiot, but......

I have a Holden 308, where is the Oil Cap / where do you top up the Oil???

It will be towards the front (usually) of one of the rocker covers (the squarish tin bits at the top/outside of the motor).

If someone has played with the rockers, it CAN be towards the back. It should look like a radiator cap with a round indentation

Hmm, OK

They have after market rocker covers, with one outlet in each cover. One has a breather to the carby, the other has a filter cap.

So I just pullout the filter cap and pour in the oil? Cool, its the only place I could think of too, but though

Hey guy's, off topic..... well abit, but I saw an old Italian guy re-fill a new ford tractor after an oil change once through the dipstick tube because he could not find the filler cap:) took him 1 1/2 hrs but it was the most spot on oil re-fills you woul

I've seen it happen twice now, where an over-exuberent DIY mechanic has filled the oil right up to the top of the rocker cover, because they didn't know what the dipstick was for.....

And the dipstick refill method - I remember scratching my head worki
