Hi all,
I'm finally getting through the work on the HJ (tonner) but hae a small problem concernng the plate order across the back of the engine bay. I had the plates layng in order from the moment I took them off but my wife did a quick tidy up and well you know the rest.
So I have 3 plates (plus a mod for the seats), 2 large and 1 small..
1 - build date, model, seating capacity etc
2 - (small) VIN number
3 - Model no., body no., trim, paint, eng no. etc..
Could someone please let me kno the order they sit from drivers side to passanger side of the ute? Thanks

Hi void.
The one on the extreme (outer) driver's side is the Compliance plate (date/ G.V.W./ seats/ ADRs etc). The narrow VIN plate is next to that.
The Body ID plate (model/ body/ paint/ eng/ trans etc) goes on the passengers side.
