Just wondering whether anyone knew of a place in brisbane were i could get some capacitors for my GTS clock? Also is it hard to fit these things?

Not that hard to fit if you know which ones ned replaceing. You only need a small soldering iron.

don't be surprised if you have difficulty getting the right part from dick smith or tandy, both are more like toy shops these days.
jaycar is certainly a more hopefull option.
Failing that prime electronics in the valley.

Another fix for these clocks that I have seen is to replace the inner workings with a later model clock.
I have read about someone who used a Gemini clock to fix his HX GTS clock.
It's a very simple job but may not be for you if you want to keep the car

sorry my previous post missed the mark a bit, for some reason I thaught you were talking about a tacho.
some of the comments remain the same but clock mec's are a quite a bit more finiky.

replacing the clock mech complete is a real option.
