Just after a bit of info please....... I was just sittin here thinking (as you do sometimes) what my engine started its life in? Engine nunmber W891420P , And what the numbers mean? also the same with the Vin/Chasis BHZ30865A what they mean,and is there a web site I can find out this type of info?

W.....P is a Western Australia police number.

Hi Mark,

Yep, your motor has lost it's original number somewhere along the line so no chance of chasing that one down unless DPI will help you out (Yeah, Right!).

The VIN/Chassis number says your car is the 30,865th HZ and was made in Adelaide.

Hey Dave Doesn't the B mean it is 2nd time around for the numbering?
Because mine is AHJ01978S And it was the 1978th HJ built in Sydney and the HJ coupes were only built in Sydney.

The "A", "B" etc refer to the ADR revision since the model was released, ie starts with "A" and each time the ADRs are changed the letters go up.
