Hi, i have been looking at putting a set of VX SS factory alloys onto the VH SL/E, and have been told this won't work because of the different size of the hub locator hole on the VX rims. Is this true?
If it is what mod would be required to fit them? Are hub adaptors available, could i get custom sleeves machined to fit the hub and what later model commodore would the VX wheels fit, ie VL or VN? - thinking about a brake upgrade to stop the thing and fit the wheels at the same time. Thanks for any help.

From memory, the larger spigot hole started with the VS.
Apparently, tyre shops have a spacer ring available off the shelf to fit late Commodore rims to early versions.
Cheers...Dave

Close - it was VT it went up.
The issue with these wheels is the dust caps on the front hubs stick out too far for the caps to fit properly (VR onwards with sealed hubs don't suffer this issue as they don't have the nut & pin under a cap).

So i'll need spacer rings for the spigot holes, is it just a case of another spacer to allow the dust caps to fit as well?
