could someone please help i`m trying to find a nine inch diff for my XW but there fairly pricey is there any other diff that would go in with out having to shorten or lengthen it

You could probaly run a later model ford Diff eg. XA-XC falcon 9 inch & get different offset wheels dished in but I would go for the XY diff myself.

standard borgwarner diff will fit but wont be as strong as the nine inch. One from an XR to XY should do. There were a couple of different borgwarners, 6cyl and V8 diffs.
