Hi all, I am trying to find a site that has pics of interiors of HJ GTS sedans as they were when leaving the line. I have spoken to a couple of re-upholstores but they seem a bit sketchy about the chamios interior of my 76 hj Gts sedan (manual 4 ).

I'd keep going until you find a trimmer who does know what you are on about - if they don't know, then they've not done it and don't have the templates. Are you re-upholstering or starting from scratch?

re-upholstering everything except the front arm rests because they are to twisted. One of the guys I spoke to has done quite a few earlier gts,but has never done one in chamios and because I want exact origional he would prefer a bit more to go on. Cheers

Give Eastern Auto Upholstery in Vicoria a go. They make reproduction door trims, hoodlinings etc etc and were very helpful to me. Hope this helps.

There are about 4 specialist trimmer in Australia that supply covers and door trims for this era. Muscle car trimmers in Brisbane, Dash original in SA and even some rare spares outlkets will get them in from these for you, then have your trimmer fit them
