Now this may seem odd but the other day i was filling my radiator when i noticed that the usual 2 hoses for the transmission cooling were missing and the holes on the radiator was plugged.
thinkin this was weird and wrong i looking in the repair manual and sure enough the FMX gearbox is supposed to have the cooling hoses, does anyone know why they maybe missing, and should i rush out and get some put on so i dont damage my gearbox???

Disreguard my post
on further inspection i found that it does actually have a cooling system its mounted to the fround fo the radiator...

Someone has put a seperate cooler for the FMX on your car at some stage. good move, will make the box live longer and run cooler. Should get the same thing done for my FMX. Oneday.......

Definitely a good thing, especially if you live in a hot part of the world and/or tow trailers/boats/vans/etc. Paul will now have a Transmission Cooler on his coupe sooner than he realised... Cheers...Dave Edited by user Monday, 9 October 2006 4:42:46 AM(UTC)
