ever seen or heard of oil leaking through the side of the 5.0L block? No cracks or anything like, its almost like the section where the oil is coming through is acting like a spounge!! any ideas??

could be a gasket, steam clean the motor and recheck,leaking gaskets can send an oil path to weird places.

have checked that, i talked with an engine rebuilder and apparently some blocks can become porous and cause oil to leak through the block/or head. i have no idea what the repair is if any but it looks like i will have to source another block
