Hey all,
Been a while since i popped in - hope all are well.
Some little punks thought it would be funny to put a hammer through the old girls front driver door glass the other night - so now i need to replace it. Which got me thinking...
Is anyone aware of which factory glass slots straight into xr-xy front doors with only the removal of the quarter vent? I have seen 2 or 3 show/race cars with this mod however have never uncovered the secret as to which factory glass is used.
Any assistance appreciated!

Hi Phil, I think I remember a magazine article on a car with this mod. In the article I think it said that the glass was custom made. The other part of this conversion would be a fair bit of jiggering about with the channels that the glass runs in.

Your right - a few are custom glass which equals big $$ (compared to simple replacement).
I have spoken to one guy who has done the mod, and by his account it was simply a case of removing the qtr vent, and install another factory piece of glass. e.g 1
