Me again! Due to running costs the 308's getting pulled out & replaced with the 186:(. It's a 60 thou Aussie motor with a 3spd manual. It's got new rings & bearings, fuel & water pumps, new genie extractors, new clutch, new fan clutch, $1000 spent on the heads (ported, new valves / springs etc), but it does have a buggered cam & lifters (long story). Looking at ebay & the trading post there's no way I'd get 2 grand for it (spent more than that), so I guess I'll have to store it. I was thinking of undoing the rockers to relieve the valve springs & wrapping the whole lot in pallette wrap. Any other ideas for long-term storage...?
The Beige Hornet.
