A friend is putting a WB caprice dash into his one tonner, and is just wondering if there is wiring already there in the loom for the extra gauges? Is there anything extra to look for to make this job easier? Also are the mounting brackets the same as a normal dash? Cheers.

It would be better to use the WB harness to match the dash and From what I remember the steel dash frame is differant on the WB.

WB Statesman dash basically bolts in. What is missing on other vehicles is the spotwelded on bracket for the glovebox hinge. Easily added though.
WB commercial loom should have most wires. The dash has it's own dash harness, but check first. Not hard to

Depending on the model of the Tonner, you may have to re-arrange the order of the wires in the plug where the column loom joins the main loom (assuming he is changing the column too).

Cheers...Dave
