My dad is reluctantly selling his pride and joy. He's the original owner and has looked after this car like you wouldn't believe. The interior is immaculate, everything is original, except for the roof lining upholstery. The exterior is just as good, no rust anywhere. It's a beauty. It's a 186 GTS Sports Coupe, gold with black stripe. Trouble is - he knows it's worth a fair bit and doesn't want to get done on a bad deal. He reckons it's hard enough to part with as it is. Just what are these cars worth??? Advice greatly appreciated.

These are beautiful cars and as such now day's are worth a pretty penny......... therefor are worth what ever someone is willing to pay for it. But with the resurgance of the new holden monaro and the interest generated in these older cars their prices wi

I reckon, depending on condition, as mentioned above) It's probably worth a touch more than that. The price of these things has gone through the roof in th past year of two. If eBay is any guide, even fairly ordinary HK 186 GTS cars sell for $15K to $20

This vehicle has done only 85,000 miles. HK Monaro 186S 6 cylinder - excellent condition - one owner (original bill of sale available)- one driver. Registered.

If it is as good as it sounds.. you would be more likely to get 30k+ on ebay. Original owner, books and sales reciept mean a lot to a prospective buyer.
Or sell it with Shannons auctions... That is a way to get HUGE $$$ for it.. Way more than it is
