Hey Fellas i havent be on in ages because i have been very busy with work and my toys I have a HT ute whick i am now starting to do up as we finally got a shep built from the cyclone I bought a 350chev and toplaoder from sump to carby and raditator to tail shaft. the motor is a o1o block bored 30 thou with smogg heads with 2.02" and 1.60" valves with crane silver series roller rockers. the haeds are also ported and polished. the cam is a comp cam 510 lift with 298 duration with manley push rod and litfers. the pistons are 30 thou over hypermatic piston with h beam rods, king bearings and the motor is also fully balanced but a cast crank, the manifold is a daul plane eldbrock rpm which will be getting replaced with a victor junior or so single plane manifold that would suit the motor . carby is a 750 double pumper. the toplaoder is in good condition with a Vertical gate 2 shifter on it. The ute only has 80,000 mile on clock and im the second onwer. The ute is 95% rust free excect for the font and rear windsreen. my plane for the ute is rack and pinion. Rims will be cragar s/s 610, 18x9 rims on back and 17x7 on front. diff will be 9inch 31spline with 3.9.1 mini spool. the ute will be get sand blasted in the next few weeks and ordering rack and pinion.
My other toy is a HQ sedan that i bought at xmas last year cause of the new ****ty P Plate laws. I could not wait till i finished my P's to drive a Worked v8 . I bought the hq with a rebuilt mild 308 , stage 2 shift kit in the trimatic and a 9in with 3.9.1 mini spool. the motor had a big cam 60thou over with ported standard heads with a big singleplane maniflod( the is no brand name or writing on the manifold exect for USA) with a 600 vac sec carb. being stupid one nite ding a skid i blew the motor. very expensive mistake. so i bought another 308 the heads have big valves and are ported with a ballanced bottom end and 40thou acl pistons. the motor also come with a brand new 650 double pumper. the motor is now in the hq and i have only done 450kh to the new motor. I put my manifold on and my cam in.The cam is a dynatec with 495 lift and 295 duration.
If any one has any advise on 9in and rack and pinions on where to get them please let me no. i dont mind rod racks set up and price. ok i will keep you informed and could some one tell me how to load photos??? Ok thank you cheers zac
