Anyone able to give me a ball park figure on what a XY Toploader shifter would be worth? (has been stored for 20+ years)

Hard to say Paul. You can either stick the thing on ebay or go to the Australian GT club forum page and ask them. Lots of XY GT owners there and I'm sure a few would like to liberate it from you.

As far as I know their not cheap, something like $400-$500 for a good reconditioned one. Try ford muscle parts in belmore.

used to beable to get em for $100 but in todays market try $300-$500 second hand
