Hi Fast EH Holden

I was wondering if you could tell me more about the problems you have had with 202s bored to 60 thou or more.
See the thing is that a lot of engine reco shops bore 202s out to 60 as a matter of course, and most HQ 202 racers that I have seen are 60 thou bored. But if it causes problems why do people do it? Do you get cooling problems in everyday driving or are you talking about more high performance applications only??

I am interested because a friend is trying to sell me a modified 202 on a 60 thou bore and he says it is ok.

I've had 2x 208 (202 + 0.060) and 1x 192 (179 +0.122) affected by it now....the 192 had holes at the top of the bore about an inch down from the top...the first 208 went at the bottom of the bore..the current 208 I will find out next week when I pull it o
