Hi all,new to this site and enjoying it.
A question that probably has been done to death and i have done a search....but any idea on how many HJ GTS MONARO Coupes were built?
Thinking of selling mine and cash in the mega dollars i will make....only kidding!
I owned a 4dr GTS for 10years and sold it to a mate after years of nagging me.He's had it for close to 10 years now and it just sits in the garage (last 3 years unreg)i even offered to buy it back about 4 years ago (he said no).3 years ago i went out looking for a HQ coupe and drove around a few km's and found bugger all.Then found an HJ GTS MONARO Coupe only 10kms away which needed alot of work but thats part of the fun in searching for bits...swap meets,ebay etc...The cars been on the road close to 2 years and i drive it as much as i can and love it...sorry for the long post but yeah...how many?...cheers mario.

606 x HJ GTS. 213 x 253, and 393 x 308.
The HJ LS coupe is rarer with 337 made.

Could never get a proper estimate.Have also been told that that amount included sedans,but found it hard to believe.
Mine was originally white with fawn interior.308,t400,a/c,p/steering.
I got it with 308,trimatic,blue body,cream interior

Those numbers are as counted off the Holden microfiche by Ben Stewart. Holden actually published that they produced 4574 x HJ GTS sedans.
In my opinion HJ GTS coupes don't look too bad - the single headlight HJ front and GTS guards looks heaps better tha |
