which is the better crank rear seal rope or neo ? cheers

Neoprene "uses" less hp, but tends to leak more especially when old. Also easier to install. Rope if installed properly seals better but has more friction.

Hi John,
I have used both, and my preference is rope. Neoprene is quick, BUT if damaged on install its another strip down.
Rope however cut to the correct overlapping length, soaked for about a week in engine oil an correctly installed, as in, rolle
