Hi Byron,
Does the body number stamped under the left washer nozzle have to match the vin plates?
Just wanted to recheck my numbers again if you have time.

The number near the LH washer nozzle is almost irrelavant in identifying the car, except that the S means it's a Sydney body.

The most important 'matching numbers' are the chassis number (on the chassis rail, near the steering box) and t

I think the only correlation on Pagewood built vehicles with Pagewood assembled bodies is the number on the firewall appears on the build sheet (I'm pretty sure this is the case, from a many years ago correspondence with Ben Stewart). Most cars nowadays n

Thanks Dr Terry and Byron,
I was just curious about the stamping under the washer nozzle.
The chassis # is different to the plate.I've had the car 4 years now and it was off the road approx 6+years with the previous owner.Vic roads did queary the differ
