I have a factory underdash AC unit to go into my HQ over winter, but I want to keep the original Frigidaire compressor the Q is can I get the compressor rebuilt to handle the new gas? if so has anyone had it done & how much it cost...

The older compressors do not work that well on 134a, but there are other gasses available these days, I have used FR12 in the older compressors with no ill harm.
