hi guys

need some advice ... the factory spotties on my Sundowner van only work when the interior light is switched to the courtesy light mode (and the spotty switch is on). The high beam switch works, but the headlight flasher mode doesn't. The LH highbeam is cactus, low beam is okay. I thought I'd start with replacing the bulb first, then check fuses, then the earths ... but it really sounds like there's a wire connected to something it shouldn't be ...

anyone familiar with this?

cheers frank

Hi Frank, I don't have experience with Escorts but taking a very rough stab in the dark i would suggest checking all of the earths as a starting point. My boat trailer does weird stuff like this when one of the earths gets a bit of corrosion happening. T

Escorts are also renouned for burnout out headlight switches. Throw some relays on the lights.
