can i fit a 12 port head from a blue 6 on a red 6 ??????

Yes. To make it work lay a blue head gasket on the red block and you'll see where you have to drill the required holes for water flow. The holes will also be in the head and not in the block for further guidance. The holes in the red block will be blocked |
