i know on sedans the chassis number is on top of the chassis in the engine bay what about the ute is it the same because icant find it anywhere.

It should be in the same spot, on top of the chassis rail just near the steering box.

Same spot on all HQ-WB. It may not be there if the chassis was a replacement chassis.
