I have noticed that very early VNs have up stamped body id plate, compliance plate and windscreen plate. (as opposed to the hundreds of little dots stamped down)
Recently I have also found:
VN March 90
VP August 92
VS June 97
The last two have a small hole on the body ID plate in the lower left corner.
Has anyone else also seen this?
Has anyone got other dates?

looks like those damn rust worms have struck again. Little buggers, seems they like alloy now!!
