I have a fuel injected vp v8, and sometime the oil light comes on, now there is plenty of oil in it, but the engine does sound about more tappy, so is it just the oil light sensor screwed or could be the pump, if its the pump would this be stuffing my motor

Had the same problem but mine ended up terminal. Took it to a mechanic who pluged a oil press gauge in and was only reading 0-2 pound at idle and just 10 pound at revs.Pulled the sump off and had a look at a bigend and a main and wasnt pretty. The guy who |

Hi Guys.
Pull the sump off. The oil pick-up will will be blocked. Do not drive it for one more minute.

How goods this fella ! Spot on Dr Terry thats what i forgot to put in previous post.
Pickup was blocked causing the starvation and in less than 6 days the engine was junk.
I've learn't from this experience and belive me if an oil light comes on do not d |
