Thats right at the end of the day it is what you want to own. And the LS had the same seats as GTS, the only GTS parts that could be orderd were:
The dash
Console shift
Wheels
Both were optional with apoilers.

The HJ had the 250BHP 308 and the HX has the polution engine, the HZ has RTS that makes up for the pollution engine. HQ just not my cup of tea.

warren, back to the original topic, did the hj ls monaro have gts guards. given that it's a prem coupe, i would have thought not...

You are right they did not have GTS guards, and they could not be optioned either.
